What’s the benefit of being a subscriber if I can see the info for “free”

Being a member, you will receive an email the evening before racing so that you can get the better odds. The same applies to our Premier League predictions. We proof our selections to Racing Index that prove we are a reliable service. Already for January 2022, we are showing profits…and these are just to SP returns. Our members are experiencing much higher returns because of the early prices they got. Look at our current standing compared to other sites.

Racing from Ireland today– DOWN ROYAL

Monday 24th January

2.40 DOWN ROYAL BYTHESAMETOKEN @ 9/1 EACH WAY

Ross O’Sullivan’s Bythesametoken, always looked to type to do well over fences and duly made a promising debut at Fairyhouse last week. He was only beaten 2 lengths by Now Where Or When but is 7lb better off with that rival today. He was 12-1 and held up towards the rear but made headway into mid-division on the outer at halfway. He was left in 3rd 2 out and chased the eventual winner to be a keeping on 2nd of 16. This track could suit him better today and is a value price worth chancing.

2.05 THURLES : AARON’S DAY @ 10/1 EACH WAY UNPLACED 9/1 SP

Aarons Day made his seasonal debut on New Year’s Eve at Punchestown over 2m 3f on Heavy ground. He was held up that day but began to make progress from 3 out but couldn’t make any impression on the leader’s entering the straight. However, he did keep on at the one pace to finish 4th of 15, 14l behind An Epic Song. He should strip fitter today and will test these with a strong gallop.

3.40 DUNDALK : FANCY RED DIAMOND @ 4/1

We are making an early start to the racing today at Dundalk with a selection in the 3.40 with Fancy Red Diamond from the Barry Fitzgerald yard. Andy Slattery will ride today and it’s hoped he can improve for his promising run two weeks ago over the same course and distance. That was his first run since August of last year and will strip much fitter today. He was 11-2 that day and raced in mid-division early on but dropped back towards the rear. 3f out, he made his move from the back and stayed on to close on the leaders to 1f out. Keeping on inside final furlong he could only manage 3rd place of 14, beaten three and a quarter lengths by Quiet Desire. With that run under his belt and a more prominent position today under Andy Slattery, it could see him run out an easy winner.

3.20 DUNDALK : GRANDMASTER FLASH @ 7/2 UNPLACED

Young Donegal star, Dylan Browne McMonagle, will lose his claim with just one more winner and that may come today with top weight, Grandmaster Flash, for his boss, Joseph O’Brien.
The six-year-old is a three-time course winner and Dylan Browne McMonagle has ridden him on each occasion. One of those wins came over this course and distance last February and then he followed-up in March over a 1m 4f. Finishing unplaced with two ventures over to Chester and Newcastle in Class 2 Handicaps in May and June, he was rested after that. A return to Dundalk last December and over 1m 3f, saw him running-on to finish a half length 2nd to Dalvey. With the trip back up to 2m today, he has an excellent chance of turning the tables with that winner.

2.25 PUN : HGRANCA DE THAIX @ 6/1 EACH WAY PLACED 3rd @ 11/2 SP

Sean Flanagan teams up with the Barry Connell trained HGRANCA DE THAIX in this Novice Handicap Hurdle. He ran well to finish 2nd at the Listowel Festival last September over 2m 4f. He wasn’t seen out till the end of December when he could only managed 4th place behind Big Debates beaten 17 lengths. However, the ground was heavy that day and it was over 2m. He returns to 2m 4f 110yds today and with the better ground conditions, it should see him go very close.

Sunday 16th January

3.20 PUNCHESTOWN : STEALTHY TOM @ 3/1 FELL

This won’t take much winning and the combination of Jordan Gainford and Enda Bolger could land the prize with J P McManus’s top weight, Stealthy Tom. He won a 2m 7f Chase very easy at Killarney last October but looked to struggle when raised 11lb after that victory. His two runs since that victory in November and December was a 3m at Fairyhouse and 3m 1f at Thurles. The fact he is dropping back to 2m 4f today could suggest connections didn’t think he stayed. Based on the easy victory over 2m 7f at Killarney, he could be just too good for this opposition today.

3.42 FAIRYHOUSE : I DON’T GET IT @ 13/2 EACH WAY PLACED 4th @ 13/2 SP

I Don’t Get It deserves to win following three good recent efforts to his name. He has finished 3rd in his last three races at Downpatrick, Down Royal and Naas. On his latest outing at Naas he soon led and was pressed at halfway. He was headed after 3 out then dropped to 3rd and ridden before last. However, he kept on at same pace on the run-in to finish 3rd of 14, 7l behind Paddys Planet. That was over 2m 3f hcp sft in early January and the extra furlong today should help him.

Friday 14th January

4.15 DUNDALK : HOUSE OF KINGS @ 6/1 4th @ 100/30 JT FAV

James McAuley’s House Of Kings ridden by Luke McAteer has a great chance of getting his head in front today. He was successful when trained by Noel Kelly in a Claiming race over a 1m 4f here in early December and then finished 4th and second, twice over 1m 3f. The 4th place was 2m and that may have stretched him. He looked all over the winner here last week until collared by shock 40/1 winner, Everyhouronthehour. The extra furlong today will be a help and he should be heading the charge around the last bend.

1.20 FAIRYHOUSE : JUMPING JET @ 7/2 3rd @ 15/8 SP

Gordon Elliott trains Jumping Jet and we are going to give her another chance based on her excellent 3rd behind Lady Temperance over 2m at Galway last October. Prior to that 3rd, she was a runaway winner of a bumper at Gowran Park when trained by Barry Fitzgerald in May of last year. It was her hurdling debut at Galway, so she will be expected to improve for that run.

Saturday 8th January

12.30 CORK : YOUNG FITZY @ 9/2

The Declan Queally-trained Young Fitzy could play his part in the opening race. He won a couple of races over hurdles in the space of 10 days back in October and put two poor runs at Limerick and Gowran behind him with a clear-cut rated novice chase success at Tramore on New Year’s Day. If he is in the same form again under 5lbs claimer Jack Foley, he stands a good chance in this.

Thursday 6th January

12.20 CLONMEL : HAPPY D’EX @ 100/30

HAPPY D’EX makes her hurdling debut following a mare’s bumper win at Fairyhouse in November ’21. The Saddle Maker mare, was also a very easy winner of a point-to-point in May. Following that point victory, she moved to the Gordon Elliott yard and after her Fairyhouse success, Elliott commented that the softer the ground the better she will be. The ground conditions today are reported as heavy, so, she should take a lot of beating.

Wednesday 5th January

2.45 DUNDALK : NO NAY ALEXANDER @ 3/1

The Johnny Murtagh-trained No Nay Alexander got up late-on over 6f to beat the strong favourite Moshammer by a head. That was in early December last year and stepping up to 7f, could bring about further improvement.  The pair were well clear of the remainder and she goes straight into a handicap for only her second start.

Best Bet’s Today- NAAS 2/01/2022
3.20 NAAS : I DON’T GET IT @ 5/1

I Don’t Get It, gets in here on 10st 4lb. He is back in handicap company after giving it a good go from the front in a maiden hurdle, 2m 1f, won by long odds-on favourite O’Toole at Down Royal on St Stephen’s Day and is likely to appreciate the step back up to 2m 3f in trip for this.

Best Bet’s Today- TRAMORE & FAIRYHOUSE 1/01/2022
1.30 FAIRYHOUSE : MYODE LADY @ 8/1 EACH WAY

James Nash trains Moynode Lady and can give Rachael Blackmore another winner. She hasn’t been hitting the target lately but went well on her latest run here in November over 3m. She went well over fences here and finished 3 lengths third behind Laughing Trix. If she runs the same here, then she has a great chance.

Best Bet’s Today- PUNCHESTOWN 31/12/2021
2.30 PUNCHESTOWN : BROSNA ROCCO @ 6/1

Brosna Rocco has run well on each of her two starts since returning from her summer break and is one who stands an excellent chance. She was soundly beaten by Lovely Moon at Clonmel last time over 2m 3f but she drops back in distance for this and the more rain that falls, the better.
