Minella Times has won the Randox Grand National at Aintree for jockey Rachael Blackmore and trainer Henry de Bromhead at 11-1.
Blackmore’s win in an annus mirabilis for the rider marked a first success for a female jockey in the world’s most famous steeplechase.
Minella Times’ win was also a remarkable one for de Bromhead, who saddled a one two in the race, with 100-1 outsider Balko Des Flos filling the runner-up spot.
Any Second Now was third for trainer Ted Walsh, with Willie Mullins’ Burrows Saint finishing fourth to complete a clean sweep for Irish-trained horses.
So proud of her!! Xx
